Overview

Travel Quest is operated by Shumba Travel. By creating an account or tapping I agree in the app, you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy for use of the mobile app, quest content, and related services.

Quest progress & badges

Your quest progress, completions, and badges are saved to your account for as long as your account remains active. Deleting your account may remove associated progress subject to our data retention practices.

Session photos & video

Photos and videos you submit during a quest session may be stored in cloud storage so organizers can review submissions and so you can sync progress across devices. Session media is retained for 90 days after the session completes, then deleted from storage. Badges and completion records are not removed when media is purged.

Content moderation

Group organizers may review player submissions and reject answers that do not meet quest requirements. Organizers and Shumba Travel administrators may remove photos or videos they deem inappropriate under these Terms. Removed media is deleted from storage. Players may be asked to submit again after organizer review.

Players can report group-feed media and block other players from the group feed. Contact tq-support@ShumbaTravel.com for additional safety concerns.

Group play

When you join a group session, your display name, score, and submitted media may be visible to the organizer and other players in that session. Optional group feed sharing is controlled by session settings and your choices at submission time.

Purchases & refunds

Quest access is purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchases. Pricing, billing, and refunds follow the store policies that apply to your purchase. Booking codes and promotional discounts are subject to the terms shown when you redeem them.

Community quests (future)

If community-submitted quests are offered in the future, Shumba Travel reserves the right to modify quest content when creators are non-responsive, after notice consistent with creator agreements and applicable law (including a 14-day notice period where required).

Account deletion

You may delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account) or via our web account deletion page. Deletion removes or anonymizes personal account data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use account information, device data, camera and microphone access for photo and video challenges, and related service data. Travel Quest practices are covered under that company policy.
